About Audra

Services: Executive Functioning Coaching

Ages: Adults, Youth 16+

Audra Yetter M.S., CCC-SLP, BC-ANCDS, ADHD-CCSP is an executive functioning (EF) coach, providing individualized telehealth-based coaching services to individuals across the United States. She is also a practicing speech-language pathologist licensed in the state of Montana, and holds board certification in the area of neurorehabilitation, through the Academy of Neurologic Communication Disorders and Sciences (ANCDS). Audra’s foundation in supporting individuals with EF challenges was curated through 15+ years of experience in hospital and medical outpatient settings treating acquired EF and other cognitive disorders related to brain injury and neurological disease. Her interest in EF coaching grew through experiences with many clients who presented with pre-injury factors such as ADHD or other EF challenges, in which many people described “falling through the cracks” on a lifelong basis with respect to supportive services. Audra’s coaching is informed by these rich clinical experiences and combined with extensive work and study of brain-behavior relationships, neuroplasticity, and values based in person-centered care. She is an ADHD Certified Clinical Services Provider.

Audra’s EF coaching philosophy is highly collaborative and honors each client’s autonomy and individual goals. She believes that all people have a unique set of EF strengths and challenges that present differently across various life situations. The stratification of these EF skills provides wonderful gifts and even superpowers for individuals; at the same time, EF challenges can interfere with one’s ability to attain long-range or daily goals; they also can be stressful or negative impact quality of life. To address EF challenges, Audra engages clients in a collaborative process involving exploring one’s own desire, ability, and confidence to invest in change and zeroing in on themes within the individual’s interrelated EF skills. She works with clients to develop awareness and a personal EF vocabulary to be able to make abstract brain-based concepts more tangible. An individualized “toolbox” of strategies and skills is developed that corresponds to specific inflection points of EF challenges. Interventions also include creating a plan to keep momentum going with new skills over time, to ultimately capitalize upon the potential for neuroplasticity, the brain’s lifelong ability to change.

Audra received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Montana State University and a Master’s degree in Medical Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Washington.  Her academic work has been published in the areas of speech motor control in Parkinson’s disease as well as language rehabilitation following stroke. She provides continuing education for speech pathologists at the state and national levels in the areas of cognitive and language neurorehabilitation. She also provides mentorship to speech pathology graduate students as well as practicing clinicians in the area of neurologic communication and cognitive disorders.  In her free time, Audra spends time keeping up with a toddler, hiking and backpacking in Montana with her golden retriever, rafting, and cooking.
